Brand Architecture

I’ve thought a lot about the definition of software architecture. Recently, I’ve been following a couple of blogs on branding. Soon I became aware of the term “brand architecture”. It’s apparent from this appropriation that the word “architecture” conveys associations of longer-term thinking, strategy, the overall consistency of something, harmony across elements.

(See for instance this post on Apple’s brand architecture.)

The above was posted to my personal weblog on July 7, 2006. My name is Peter Lindberg and I am a thirtysomething software developer and dad living in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, you’ll find posts in English and Swedish about whatever happens to interest me for the moment.
