Brian Eno and Will Wright Thinking Long-Term

If you’re in San Francisco later this month, you should consider going to this, I wish I could; from the Long Now Foundation mailing list:

Instead of the second Friday of June, Will Wright will speak on Monday, June 26, 7pm, on “Playing with Time,” accompanied by a long time fan, Brian Eno. The location will be the Herbst Theater on Van Ness, which seats 900. Since it will be a popular event, and we want to avoid an overflow line, seats can be reserved for $8 from City Box Office: http://tinyurl.com/zugka.

Will Wright is creator of the computer games “Sim City,” “The Sims,” and the forthcoming “Spore.” Brian Eno is a British musician, composer, producer, artist, and board member of The Long Now Foundation.

The above was posted to my personal weblog on June 10, 2006. My name is Peter Lindberg and I am a thirtysomething software developer and dad living in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, you’ll find posts in English and Swedish about whatever happens to interest me for the moment.
