Great Idea: Podbasket

I’ve been thinking of setting this up locally1, but it makes much more sense as a public service: Podbasket. The idea is: you create a podcast feed, then add MP3s published online to it and subscribe to it in your podcast-aware feedreader. Subscribe to my podbasket if you want.

1 What I had in mind was to just write a script that takes whatever I drop into a local folder and presents it as a podcast to iTunes, so that I can listen as easily to ripped episodes of, say Start the Week, as regular podcasts.

The above was posted to my personal weblog on February 6, 2006. My name is Peter Lindberg and I am a thirtysomething software developer and dad living in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, you’ll find posts in English and Swedish about whatever happens to interest me for the moment.
