A del.icio.us Bookmarklet
I’ve modified the bookmarklet I used for posting links to the wonderful del.icio.us “social bookmarks” service. It now pops up a small window that can easily be dragged aside if I need to check things in the webpage I’m bookmarking. I realized this was a handy thing when I checked out the nutr.icio.us add-on service (which I would probably use if the server that hosts it wasn’t so slow).
I can’t remember where I got the original bookmarklet, so I don’t know who to credit. Anyway, here is mine: Post to del.icio.us. Drag it to your bookmarks bar. Then, when you’re on a webpage you want to post to del.icio.us, select the text you want to quote and click the bookmarklet.
Note: I am yet to update the scripts that generates my subscription feed, so the bookmarklet won’t display properly in your feed reader.
