Everything is Illuminated, by Jonathan Safran Foer

Jonathan Safran Foer, Everything is Illuminated

Last night I finished, in the bath, Jonathan Safran Foer wonderful book Everything is Illuminated. I warmly recommend it. As I find it impossible to review fiction, I can’t say much about it, but I think it’s brilliant both storywise and on the “theoretical” level. Again, I think about how it’s a characteristic of many great novels to invent its own universe, and then exploit its constraints.
