Re: Elin Oxenhielm and Hilbert’s 16th Problem

Regarding the Oxenhielm paper on Hilbert’s 16th problem (which professor of mathematics Grigori Rozenblioum advises not to be published), I’m told something will be posted to her professor Yishao Zhou’s homepage in the next few days, hopefully tomorrow. Judging by the discussion at unstruct.org and what I’ve heard from various people, her paper doesn’t offer proof of a solution. But we’ll see what happens.

The above was posted to my personal weblog on December 3, 2003. My name is Peter Lindberg and I am a thirtysomething software developer and dad living in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, you’ll find posts in English and Swedish about whatever happens to interest me for the moment.
