Mailinator lets you make up an email address as you need it for some web form you’re filling in. When the confirmation mail is sent, you check the mailbox by entering that address. Later, when you no longer need it, the account is deleted. Might be handy when you want to sign up but don’t want to supply your real address. (Via Joel Spolsky.)
