Lowell Lindstrom writes, on the Extreme Programming (XP) mailinglist regarding large XP projects, that “As a definition of large scale, we have seen teams approaching 60–70 people that don’t require significant adaptation of the XP practices. Those are organizations whose culture reinforces the XP values [Communication, Simplicity, Feedback, and Courage] as opposed to challenging them. In organizations whose cultures don’t align with XP’s values, large scale might be as small as 20 or less.”

The above was posted to my personal weblog on April 16, 2003. My name is Peter Lindberg and I am a thirtysomething software developer and dad living in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, you’ll find posts in English and Swedish about whatever happens to interest me for the moment.
