New books
Yesterday I picked up two new books: The Death and Life of Great American Cities by Jane Jacobs and Complexity: The Emerging Science at the Edge of Order and Chaos by M. Mitchell Waldrop.
I think I will read Complexity first, but I haven’t decided yet. My motivation for reading these two books is to get new perspectives on software architecture. I read Linked recently, and it didn’t contain as much things applicable to software as I had hoped. As for Jacobs’ book, I think that city planning can offer new perspectives. We’ll see.
Thanks to all of you that have ordered books through the Amazon.com links here!
