Notes on learning

June Kim wrote to say that he thinks that How People Learn is excellent. He also found the second edition online, in its entirety, here. Thanks!

From observing my daughter, it’s obvious that it’s important for learning to be fun: the things that stick most easily is the things that make her laugh. Also, I’d say that freedom is an important element: things discovered that extend her freedom and independence also seems more easily remembered.

The above was posted to my personal weblog on December 22, 2002. My name is Peter Lindberg and I am a thirtysomething software developer and dad living in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, you’ll find posts in English and Swedish about whatever happens to interest me for the moment.
