ZDNet: Toshiba’s Mobilphile: A waste of good technology

Josh Taylor, ZDNet: “In order to listen to files that I copied to my Mobilphile, I have to use Toshiba’s proprietary software. That software encrypts music tracks, thus ensuring I can’t copy them from the Mobilphile to another PC or device.” (Via Cory Doctorow.)
