VerisignOff for sure!

I’m transferring a domain to Godaddy from VeriSign, and today I got the following e-mail from the latter:

Dear Valued VeriSign® Customer:
We’ve received a request to Change the Registrar of your domain name registration [...] to another registrar. You’re a valued customer, and we want you to remain with VeriSign. We hope you’ll reconsider and renew your domain name registration with VeriSign at our special valued customer promotional price, available at: [...]

Then follows a list of things intended to change my mind about switching. I interpreted it as a spam, and was about to delete it. But as I scrolled way down, I realised that it was the e-mail I was supposed to reply to for my transfer request to be concluded! “If you don’t respond within 72 hours from the time stamp of this e-mail, the request to Change Registrar will be denied.”

I’m even more convinced to switch now.
