Burger keywords (revisited)

Eric Snowdeal wrote to say that I might want read Jon Udell’s Quick and Dirty Topic Mapping over at O’Reilly Network. (Thanks!) The article was interesting and Jon’s attitude towards categories is close to mine, but I am too lazy to go over my posts and classify them (there are 351 of them, counting this one). Remember, laziness is the mother of invention!

I want to create a solution that defines keywords or categories similar to the “smart playlists” in iTunes 3. Now that I think of it, it seems very similar to Burger’s concept of defining pages to collect posts based on a criterion! Perhaps the smart keywords feature can be achieved by evolving this design? I’ll have to think about this some more! (Thanks again Eric!)

The above was posted to my personal weblog on August 7, 2002. My name is Peter Lindberg and I am a thirtysomething software developer and dad living in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, you’ll find posts in English and Swedish about whatever happens to interest me for the moment.
