The Pledge

Last night we watched The Pledge, starring Jack Nicholson as the detective who continues working on a murder case after it being closed – and after his retirement. It was an excellent story (based on an out-of-print book from 1959 by Friedrich Dürrenmatt), very well directed (by Sean Penn) and with an effective cinematography. I recommend it!
