Retrofitting tests, test-first style

I sent a post to the testdrivendevelopment list this morning, which to my delight sparked a Eureka! in Levi Purvis. What a pleasant way to start the day!

The topic was how to retrofit XP programmer tests to “legacy” code, and I pointed to the ideas expressed by Phlip on the ExtractAlgorithmRefactor Wiki page.

The above was posted to my personal weblog on June 5, 2002. My name is Peter Lindberg and I am a thirtysomething software developer and dad living in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, you’ll find posts in English and Swedish about whatever happens to interest me for the moment.
