Spring

The definition of spring time is (at least in Sweden) that the average temperature stays within 0 to 10 degrees Centigrade for a week. As I remembered it, it was that the average should be 10 or above. I am STUNNED to find out that we’ve had spring for A MONTH in Stockholm (since around March 25th according to the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, SMHI).

Anyway, the weather is VERY nice in Stockholm today. And the price of tomatoes dropped to SEK 19,90 per kilogram last week, from the insanely high of 49,90. I really like being able to eat tomato sandwiches as much as I like.

The above was posted to my personal weblog on April 21, 2002. My name is Peter Lindberg and I am a thirtysomething software developer and dad living in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, you’ll find posts in English and Swedish about whatever happens to interest me for the moment.
