Metaphor, Architecture, and XP

I’ve just read a draft of a paper to be presented by David West, of New Mexico Highlands University, at XP 2002, titled “Metaphor, Architecture, and XP”. It was very interesting to read.

He uses a diagram influenced by the Tibetan Wheel of Life, and it seems that it is an effective way of conveying the aspects of your architecture (which I think is something you either decide upon or end up with anyway; you can’t not have an architecture). The draft is available if you browse the messages of the TDD list, but I don’t want to link to it directly.

The above was posted to my personal weblog on April 6, 2002. My name is Peter Lindberg and I am a thirtysomething software developer and dad living in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, you’ll find posts in English and Swedish about whatever happens to interest me for the moment.
